A group of fifty 4th grade students from St Agnes School visited and interacted with the Little Sisters and Residents in our auditorium.
They arrived at nine and a brief overall view of our mission was shared with the students by Sr. Joseph Marie. After seeing a video of St Jeanne Jugan and hearing about caring for the elderly, they asked several questions about our vocation.
Before getting into groups with the Residents, they sang a couple of songs and distributed homemade cards to each Resident.
Following Mass, they departed filled with joy realizing that each Resident had become their ‘adopted’ grandparent for the day!
