A few days in advance of Mardi Gras all departments were preparing their beautiful floats for our Parade.
It was such a joy to see everyone in a spirit of “family” parade around our home in front of our Residents, volunteers and families as they judged for the best float! We had a queen of the Mardi Gras, musical floats, and even a Bingo Float.
The Little Sisters had the map of the various Homes with St. Jeanne Jugan in the center as the singing of “We are Family” filled the halls.
All the floats were so well done, it was difficult to pick a winner. Therefore, it was decided that all the employees would have a ‘pizza party’.
